Pricing

Priced against damage, not features.

Every tier prices against what is at risk, not what is bundled. Consumer plans are priced as coverage envelopes for financial, communication, and scheduling exposure. Gateway plans are priced per volume of cloud agent traffic. B2B2C partners negotiate directly.

Embed Vigil in your product.

Insurance, wealth management, healthcare, legal, crypto. Partners license the Vigil engine to protect their end customers. Your policyholders, clients, or patients get an audit trail that holds up in claims, regulatory review, and litigation.

Pricing is negotiated per partnership, typically as a percentage of partner revenue or a flat per-end-user fee. First LOI target at Day 60. Run by Tobias Berger from Singapore.

Pricing FAQ

The honest answers.

Why is this priced against damage instead of features?
A compromised AI agent can move real money, send real messages, delete real data. The cost of one Tier 3 incident exceeds the lifetime price of Sovereign. Feature-list pricing would anchor against software SaaS ($10-30/month). That anchor is wrong. Vigil is priced against what it protects. One lunch a month for the audit trail, the approval gate, and the revocation switch.
Can I use Gateway without a consumer plan?
Yes. Developer, Team, and Enterprise Gateway tiers are standalone. They do not require a consumer subscription. The Free tier is the only one that requires Citadel or Sovereign since it is bundled into those plans.
What happens if I exceed my Gateway request quota?
Soft overage. Requests keep passing with full defense. You get a dashboard warning at 90%. Overage is billed at the rate of your tier (for example, Developer tier bills overage at the per-request equivalent). No surprise blocks. Enterprise contracts have custom SLA terms.
Is there a free consumer tier?
Guardian at $79/year is the entry point. A limited free tier is on the roadmap for distribution reach, but we are deliberately keeping the baseline paid. Free security tools teach users that security is worth nothing. We are not doing that.
Annual vs monthly billing?
Consumer plans are priced annually except Sovereign, which is month-to-month. Gateway plans are monthly. Enterprise contracts are annual with quarterly payment terms available.
Can I upgrade or downgrade?
Upgrade instantly. Downgrade at the end of the current billing period. No refunds on annual plans. Gateway plan changes are prorated at the daily rate.
What's the difference between Sovereign and Citadel?
Sovereign adds full WARDEN (active threat hunting on your agents, contribution to the collective intelligence network, priority incident response) and expanded Gateway quota. Citadel gives you WARDEN-lite (read-only access to the intel feed). Sovereign is for users who want active defense, not just detection.
Who pays for B2B2C coverage?
The partner, not the end user. Insurance companies, wealth managers, and healthcare platforms license the engine to cover their customers. End users get Vigil as part of their existing relationship with the partner. Pricing is negotiated per partnership, typically 2-5% of partner revenue or $10-50 per end-user per year.

Start with the tier that protects what you can't afford to lose.

Most individuals start with Fortress. Most builders start with Developer. Most companies start with Team. Most regulated shops start with an Enterprise conversation.
